At Haven Care we never forget the core of all our services is to provide a safe and friendly environment for all out residents.

Sandy Hill Court in Shirley, Solihull is comprised of eight one bed room apartments in the main house and one in the annexe.

All apartments have been purpose built specifically to accommodate adults (18 plus) with Learning disabilities autism, physical and complex needs. Each Apartment has a large entrance hall, a lounge kitchenette, large wet room and bedroom with in-built wardrobes. Each apartment has its own controls for under floor heating, electricity and hot water etc. Each apartment has smart alarm systems to allow staff to monitor movement in the service user’s apartments. In the main house, there is a communal lounge on the ground floor, an eight-person passenger lift, a large garden with a circular lawn, and a wheel chair friendly path all around the garden. Each apartment has a satellite point, TV point and communal Wi-Fi. Residents can have their own phone line and Wi-Fi installed. Communal areas offer a lounge, garden and car park which are all wheel chair friendly. In the main house, there are four apartments on the ground floor and four on the first floor. There are 2 staff rooms on the first floor one of which provides utilities for food and drink preparation. The second staff room is office equipped for daily recordings.
The apartments on the ground floor have wheel chair friendly kitchens. All kitchens are fully fitted with high quality German kitchens and are equipped with a branded electric hob, oven, washer dryer and a fridge freezer..

We also have a maintenance team including a gardener, IT support and a window cleaner, who visit the service as regularly.
